This is about our Little Free Library in Freeland, Oxfordshire, UK. This community project was grant aided by West Oxfordshire District Council.
So, what goes on behind the scenes at a Little Free Library? As well as maintaining a Facebook page, a Twitter account, writing a monthly article for the village magazine, monitoring the content (checking its not too empty and not too full), I also take care of all the books that are in storage.
More books get donated than can ever fit inside the Little Free Library at any given time, so there are lot in storage. They are kept in a shed in our garden, ready to be put into the Little Free Library when space becomes available. Every once in a while, I sort out the older books and donate them to local charity shops. It is impossible to keep every single book that gets donated, so I have become quite selective; otherwise the shed would be overflowing with books all the time!

This shed holds a treasure trove of books!
