This is about our Little Free Library in Freeland, Oxfordshire, UK. This community project was grant aided by West Oxfordshire District Council.
We experimented today with an outreach visit to the local parent and toddler group. I go there anyway with my 2 year old son, and often help out, so setting up a table with books from our Little Free Library was straightforward. I put up signs, and covered the table with a mix of children’s books and adult books. Most of the people there are familiar with our Little Free Library, but a few asked me if they had to bring the books back. We currently have a lot of books in stock, so I’m looking for other outreach opportunities. Does anyone have any ideas?
