Freeland Little Free Library

This is about our Little Free Library in Freeland, Oxfordshire, UK. This community project was grant aided by West Oxfordshire District Council.

In October, local Oxfordshire publisher Fircone Books very kindly donated some of their books for our Little Free Library. Above, a beautiful book about some of Oxfordshire’s best churches and also a set of postcards of local stained glass windows. The book even features our village church, St Mary’s, in Freeland! Below, three wonderful children’s books by Jim Smith. In exchange for giving us the free books, we promoted Fircone Books in our Little Free Library for a whole week, prominently displaying the books, along with free postcards. I’m hoping to host other publishers in a similar way in the future. My wife and I ended up ordering some of these books as to give as Christmas gifts this year, because we liked them so much.
