Freeland Little Free Library

This is about our Little Free Library in Freeland, Oxfordshire, UK. This community project was grant aided by West Oxfordshire District Council.

Our Launch Party

We launched our Little Free Library on 5th September, 2015, with an official opening party and local media coverage. We were interviewed by BBC Radio Oxford, That’s Oxford TV, and featured in local publications such as the Witney Gazette and Your Cotswold Link.

Here are links to our TV interview and Your Cotswold Link article.

At the launch party, we invited people to come with a few books to donate, provided cookies and drinks, and set up a children’s craft table where they could make and decorate bookmarks.

I loved seeing your interview, and your Blog has been an inspiration! We recently set up our Little Free Library here in Appleby, North Lincolnshire, and feel just as excited about it as you obviously are!
